At Wiers Farm we’re committed to the future. We’re in business to produce healthy, delicious food for today, tomorrow, and years to come.
As a 5th generation family farm we recognize that our heritage has shaped both who we are and what we do. Thanks to our parents and grandparents, we understand that our actions have consequences for what our children can do tomorrow. Thus, we continually work toward a sustainable future for our land, our employees, and our community.
We recognize that our ability to grow vegetables is inextricably tied to the health of the land. Armed with over 100 years’ worth of knowledge about how to farm our unique soil, we make choices that mitigate environmental harm and increase the productivity, longevity, and overall health of our most important resource.
We also recognize that our ability to consistently deliver high-quality produce is only possible because of the dedication and hard work of our employees. The Wiers family is committed to cultivating strong relationships with employees. Accordingly, Wiers Farm retains a workers’ advocate, facilitates health screenings, and funds educational scholarships for employees’ children.
Finally, we recognize the important role of companies as leaders in local community. As such, Wiers Farm is committed to donating a substantial portion of its annual profits to charitable causes, with a specific focus on education. Wiers Farm is also allied with the Ohio Association of Foodbanks to provide produce to those who would otherwise be unable to afford it.
